Mendy lives in a community where he is told what to do all the time. He leaves this community and joins his friend Yankel. Yankel lives the life of a Manhattan native. Mendy has a hard time fitting in with normal society. He begins to wonder if this was the right decision after all. Mendy then meets Bianca. Bianca changes Mendy's life to the fullest extent. She acknowledges Mendy to present his beliefs and ways of life to the Manhattan community. Mendy begins living the life he dreamed of living for many years. He learns to love himself more than his family in the strict community.
