Kanika is a beautiful young girl who has been deeply affected by a recent tragedy in her life. Her family has always shared a passion for fishing and they are off on a trip. It is during the fishing trip that Kanika's father kills her beloved mother in order to make way for a new lady in his life. Kanika's step mother is a cruel lady who thrives off of beating her new stepchild and belittling her to the point of near breakdown. However, to Kanika's surprise, her mother is about to return to life in the form of a catfish.
