This documentary takes a look at the music movement known as nerdcore, a genre that has exploded on the internet among artists mixing and distributing their own music. This geeky twist on hip hop and rap focuses on such traditionally nerdy subject matter as video games, comic books, and science fiction. Featuring interviews and performances from major names in the genre as well as additional cameos from several dozen well known musicians in the field during the mid to lake 2000s as the genre expanded from its online birthplace to live performances, concerts, and eventually even reaching into the mainstream.
