The Rodney King Riots as they have come to be known as involved a group of Los Angeles, California police officers viciously beating an African-American man and the whole world was able to witness the beating thanks to the person who captured the whole event on his camera. In response to the beating, one of the biggest race riots in recorded history took place involving countless beatings and cases of property destruction. This film focuses on a pawn shop in South Central Los Angeles as they witnessed the riots first hand.
