No Way to Treat a Lady
No Way to Treat a Lady is a 1968 comic thriller that leans towards the dark end of the spectrum. Jack Smight directed and Rod Steiger stars in the movie. Steiger plays a serial killer named Christopher Gill. Gill's infatuation with his mother leads him to fixate on older women. Gill is a Broadway director and he uses his theater skills to adopt various disguises. His trademark as a serial killer is to paint a pair of lips on the foreheads of his victims with lipstick. George Segal plays Detective Morris Brummel. He is the one charged with the task of tracking down Gill. He soon realizes that there is some kind of theater connection. This is an excellent movie for black comedy fans.
