Watch On the Green Carpet

A romantic comedy about the devotion some people can express towards their leaders. In this case, the amusement of the Dear Leader, the now late Kim Jong-il is being carefully, and fearfully prepared. Kim was the North Korean dictator who oppressed, tortured, and enslaved so many of this own people. The life of the average North Korean citizen is shown, fabricated to be seen as easy and carefree, for the camera. The film concludes with flowery, luxurious pageantry and synthetic happiness syrup, all thoughtfully choreographed. All the kids are willing to expend themselves for their Dear Leader.
