Trying to impress her fellow classmates she starts driving while talking on the phone to Dru and not looking where she was driving. Dru doesn't tell Paris he loves her and she gets mad and wrecks her mother's SUV. Alvin agrees to fix Paris' car only if she pretends to be his girlfriend for two weeks so he can get popular. At first Paris doesn't like the idea of that, but she eventually agrees. At first everybody at schools thinks it's weird that Paris is dating Alvin. All the popular kids still treat him like he's a nerd and Paris starts talking up for Alvin. She gives him a transformation and then people at school start liking him. Alvin starts feeling like himself and starts dissing his nerd friends for the popular kids. Since Alvin has become popular he now wants to break up with Paris in front of the whole school, but Paris is mad because over the 2 weeks she has really started to have feelings for him. Eventually Alvin does break up with Paris in front of the school and she is embarrassed, and Alvin starts dating her best friend. During Senior Ditch Day at the beach Paris' boyfriend Dru comes to town to surprise Dru, but that ends up a disaster because he finds out that Paris has been dating Alvin. Paris tries to tell him the relationship was fake but he doesn't want to hear her. Paris finds Alvin with a girl making out and begs him to tell Dru that she only pretended to date him, but Alvin doesn't tell him. Paris then gets mad because Alvin starts yelling and everybody on the beach comes and gathers around them and she blurts out that she dated him so he would fix her car. Once the school finds this out Alvin is back to being a nerd. He eventually starts hanging out with his old friends again. At a basketball game he apologizes to Paris and her feelings start coming back and they kiss.
