The chase leads him into a series of complications and he ends up being locked up in a prison cell with the thief. The two then hatch an ingenious plan to escape together, but the task proves to be more difficult than they anticipated.

The characters in the movie are well-crafted, with each one bringing their unique quirks and humor to the plot. Natalya Seleznyova delivers a charming performance as Nina, the love interest of Shurik who pops up in each of the adventures. Yuri Nikulin and Georgy Vitsin play the roles of Gangsters and provide some of the most memorable comic moments of the film. Yevgeny Morgunov, who plays the thief, is also brilliant in his portrayal of a desperate criminal.

The plot of the movie is well-written, with each adventure seamlessly flowing into the next.
