Other Voices is a black-and-white documentary that focuses on the controversial treatment plan five mental patients at the Delaware Valley Mental Health Foundation in Pennsylvania go through over a period of a year-and-a-half. The film shows real-life therapeutic sessions given by Dr. Honig. These sessions are extremely dramatic, emotional and sometimes violent in their direct confrontational approach. The patients endure bullying, being yelled at and argued with in hopes of getting them to respond on a level that's equal to the therapist. The firm shows the physical changes the patients go through while being treated, as well as the results.
