Why would someone choose to be gay? And why would they do it in Kansas, a state notoriously tough on gay people? "Out Here In Kansas" is the directorial debut of longtime journalist Adam Knapp, who explores the tumultuous relationship between Christians and the LGBT community. While interviewing a gay football player and his Christian pastor, Knapp himself unexpectedly became part of the story.
