Andrea Sorkin was in graduate school when she developed the symptoms of autoimmune illness. Her search for answers led her to discover a silent epidemic in women. She responded by producing Priority Seating: a documentary that examines what it means to be an American woman with an autoimmune illness. It is the first film project to investigate the impact of autoimmunity as a whole.
