As a young boy growing up in Australia, Jack (Nathan Hill) was fascinated by martial arts films and longed to become a samurai. However, as the years went by, Jack's dreams faded and he settled into a mundane job at a radio station. But everything changes when Jack becomes convinced that he has somehow been transported back in time to feudal Japan. Suddenly, he finds himself dressed in samurai armour and wielding a sword. As he tries to make sense of his new surroundings, Jack must also fight off hordes of ninjas and other enemies, all while trying to figure out how he got there and how he can get back home.

Along the way, Jack meets a beautiful samurai named Akiko (Brooke Satchwell) who takes him under her wing and helps him hone his fighting skills. With her help, Jack becomes a skilled warrior and starts to learn the ways of the samurai. But as his adventure unfolds, he soon realizes that there may be more at stake than just his own survival.
