This documentary focuses on the journey of two Somali Bantu families in Africa who are part of the pool of over 13,000 refugees who immigrated to America in 2004. Family members are seen at a Kenyan refugee camp taking a class that will help them get oriented to their new life in America, one that includes an amazing array of conveniences that they never enjoyed in Africa, including indoor plumbing, refrigeration, formal schooling and tall, multi-story buildings complete with elevators.
