Steve and Bob (Josh Lively & Zane Crosby) want to be vampires. The only thing stopping them is reality. But after meeting a shady dealer of the occult (Ryan Stocking), they pick up a potion that makes their fantasies a reality. Unfortunately, these two role-playing nerds don't have what it takes and soon learn that being a vampire is much more difficult than it seems.
The debut film from director Justin Channell (DIE AND LET LIVE) also features appearances from Lloyd Kaufman (Creator of The Toxic Avenger) & Count Gore De Vol (Nightbeast), Raising the Stakes is a "subtle blend of Clerks and South Park style" that Film Threat called "a new generation of slacker-cinema!"
Predating the "Twilight" vampire fad by several years, this film is sure to make both fans and detractors of vampire culture howl with laughter!
