Rani Aur Lalpari
A dance hall owner must pay off a debt earlier than expected, and has a series of seizures which prevent him from living a normal life. Through a community of dancers and artists, he slowly learns how to rehabilitate himself, leaving a lasting legacy of dance, friends, and companionship, before his last days in the dark dance halls of his young adulthood. Before he dies, his mother visits the dance hall and uncovers the friendships he has made - friendships that have shocked her, but ultimately remind her of the compassion of the human psyche. The film is not rated.
