Shine Service tells the incredible life story of Robert "Percy" Person, an 82-year-old black shoe shiner. Percy has shined shoes since 1947 and currently operates his shop in the historic Nashville Arcade. Throughout his 70 years of shining, Percy has weathered segregation and devastating personal tragedies, yet he remains a vital member of the community, committed to keeping his trade alive.
