Shutter is a horror movie that reflects on a hit and run car accident, and the consequences that occur to the couple that made the decision to keep going. The night starts with several young people gathered together drinking a toast to their friends engagement. After drinking half of the night away the party ended and the group parted ways. One of the couples, Jane and Tun, carry on their conversation on their drive back home. Jane turns to look at Tun, and when she does, she hits a woman that walked out into the street. Jane unfastens her seat belt and attempts to get out of the car, but Tun demands that she drive away. Since they chose to drive away they did not know if the girl that lay face down in the street was just injured or maybe even worse. The next day Tun, a photographer, is working on snapping pictures of another friends graduation. While taking the pictures of the entire class he sees a vision of what appears to be the dead girl standing with the other graduates. Tun looks up and the vision is not there so he brushes the incident off as just his imagination. When he views the photos that he took from the graduation almost all of the pictures appear to have some white cloud in it. He tries to blame the processors equipment, but the cloud appears in all of the negatives as well. Tun takes the pictures home to show Jane and a face appears in the same photo of the graduation group that he saw when he took it. He claims his camera must be broken, but he isn't sure he believes it himself. These images and visions are only the beginning of the consequences this couple faces after making a bad decision.
