Turkey hunting is as close to elk hunting as you can get in the spring. Patterning, stalking and calling all come in to play for both quarries. RMEF volunteers David and Crystal Watts have donated the use of their Texas ranch for youth hunters and to help RMEF donors and volunteers raise funding for improving elk habitat. The event is now much more than a turkey hunt, it's become a tradition.
