On Saturday, July 19th 2008, Wild Eye presented the 42nd Street Smut Show in New York City at the now closed Two Boots Pioneer Theater. The show featured a screening of over twenty vintage dirty movie trailers and featurettes, all from the heyday of New York adult cinema.
But the highlight of the evening was a rare, surprise guest appearance from hardcore adult legend, Mr. Jamie Gillis - who thrilled and titillated the audience with his tales of working as a live performer on 42nd Street and his life-long his career in adult entertainment, giving us a glimpse of what it was like to work in the business in the glory days.
