Watch Sumo East and West

This motion picture takes a look into the fascinating world of Japanese sumo wrestling. For many centuries symbol wrestling has been considered the national sport of Japan as well as a prized national treasure of the country's history. However, as of recent years the sport which has been the face of Japanese culture has now transcended boundaries and become recognized as an international sport, much to the displeasure to traditionalists in Japan. The film follows one of the many champions of the sport, a Hawaiian born sumo wrestler who is making his way to the top of the sport once more after an earlier injury derailed his dreams.
