Watch Thanksgiving Shared: Native Americans

This brief cultural and historical documentary film premiered in 2007. It is about the story of the first Thanksgiving feast shared between the Pilgrims who settled the new world and the Native Americans who already inhabited the New World. The film explores the contributions the Native Americans made to what has become a national holiday celebrated every year in the United States. The film contains reenactments of the interactions that took place between colonists and Indians and shows the foods that were present at the time of the feast known as Thanksgiving. The documentary runs for approximately 17 minutes.
