The Codex is a movie based on a novel about a wealthy man who suffers from a terminal illness. He has been collecting priceless antiques from around the world. They are valuable treasures that he was able to get his hands on. He wrote a letter to his three sons. He sends them to search for him in New Mexico. The three brothers end up having an adventure in search of their father as well as receiving a handsome award ones they do find him. It is also about finding a cure for all sorts of terminal illnesses like cancer.
