In 2016, Growing in Communities worked with the Kanaka Bar Indian Band (near Lytton, BC) set out its Food Self-Sufficiency plan. On the basis of GiC's advice, the community hired a permaculture expert to design their band office garden plan and is now in implementing the design long-term plan for the community.
