Three successful scientists are called to Washington DC to discuss their designs for a new form of nuclear bomb, which will be the most dangerous ever produced. All three board the same plane, which quickly begins a steep ascent that takes them over ten miles into the atmosphere and results in most of the passengers losing consciousness. Trapped in a timeless state the three scientists are brought to life and faced with the future generations of Earth who have had their lives ruined by the bomb the three produced.
