The Motion picture Flyboys is a film geared for family entertainment and is rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America. Released in 2008, the movie was created for family viewing. The plot of the movie is based on two young boys, Jason and Kyle who come from two totally different lifestyles and yet become friends destined for a journey of wild intrigue. The boy’s lives take a sudden turn into an unexpected world of adventure and danger when they discover a mysterious plan at a small airport. The boys decide to investigate the plane and unexpectedly end up becoming stowaways aboard the plane. The plot has many twists and turns during many junctures throughout much of the movie. Once airborne, the boys discover a bomb in the cargo area where they are hiding out. When they attempt to confront the pilot and co-pilot they discover the plan is unmanned and they are over the Arizona desert. When they realize everyone on board has jumped off the plane, the boys must learn to fly the plane or die. The plot thickens as the boys look to find a way to land the plane on their own. The boys later realize that their discovery of the bomb, and their attempts to land the plane, lead to the foiling a plot by the mob to steal millions of dollars. This is a high adventure, action based film surrounding two young boys coming of age in a dark world of corruption and drama. The film is 118 minutes long. The film stars two young actors in the lead roles Jesse James, as Jason McIntyre and Reiley McClendon, as Kyle Barrett. The film also stars award winning actor Stephen Baldwin. The film is based on a true story of an incident that occurred in 2004. The film is a production of Dark Coast Pictures and was officially released on August 15, 2008.
