With the abduction of Helen from Sparta, the Greeks (Agamemnon, Menelaos, Odysseus, Ajax, Diomedes and Achilles) battled the Trojans and their allies (Hector, Paris, Priam, Penthesileia, and Memnon) for ten years before the walls of Troy.
