The Florida Highwaymen are a group of unlikely black artists who sold landscape paintings door to door for $20 and $30 during the segregation and civil rights eras. The black artists used art and business savvy to make a living. They were inspired by leader Alfred Hair, who tested social norms towards race and turned art into a profitable business. Legends of the Road documents their journey.
