The plot of the film revolves around two lovers named Nicholas Collini and Tacy who have just gotten married. Nicholas decides to take a new job as a civil engineer but is faced with the problem which the work will present, that being he will have to constantly be estranged from his wife due to the traveling which the work will require. However, his wife, Tacy, comes up with a idea to remedy the situation, they will purchase a trailer home so that Nicholas can work and his wife can stay by his side.

However nothing seems to go as planned, the cost for the trip and trailer and new car mount to ridiculous prices, the errant couple are waylaid by a gaggle of obnoxious fellow travelers and tensions rise between the two lovers.
