Rio owns a small sign shop in Southern California. His grandfather taught him how to heat and bend the delicate glass tubes into the shapes of letters and symbols. Business is slow and while he makes the occasional new sign, he spends a lot more time repairing signs, some 50 years old. Rio's sons, the potential fourth generation of neon craftsmen, have not learned the craft there's not enough work
