Before his untimely death Mr. Hannaford had been working on a film, but was killed before he could complete it. A friend of his named Billy Boyle tries to explain what the uncompleted film was going to be about. A bus en route to a Birthday party for the late Mr. Hannaford stops to pick up a hitchhiker.
