The Space Between is a 2010 film that won many awards for its realistic portrayal of the plot. It chronicles the fictional account of a flight attendant who becomes responsible for a young boy in the morning of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. There's chaos ensuing in a plane as it becomes stranded in Longview, Texas. In the confusion, a flight attendant named Montine is entrusted with the care of a boy named Hassan. Later Montine finds out that Hassan's father works in the World Trade Center, the NYC buildings targeted by terrorists on that fateful day. Many interesting events take place between the flight attendant and the young boy as they bond and learn more about each other.
