Watch The Three Musketeers

Alexandre Dumas’s 1844 novel is again brought to the screen in this Russian film. In it, director Sergei Zhigunov captures much of the adventure and romance of the source material. The story recounts the swashbuckling exploits of young D’Artagnan, who comes to Paris seeking his fortune as a musketeer. He meets soon-to-be comrades Athos, Porthos and Aramis and they are plunged into intrigue involving Cardinal Richelieu and his agents the Comte de Rochefort and Milady de Winter. Though this version takes some liberties with the characterizations and plot lines, the movie will appeal to fans of costume drama.
