Watch Their Finest Hour - The Battle Of Britain

A beautifully filmed documentary commemorating the 50th. anniversary of 'The Battle of Britain'. Amazing aerial footage of actual WWII air combat, and of present day footage of those combat planes performing a 'fly-over' to celebrate this historic event in Britain's history. Though a majority of the RAF pilots during July of 1940 had little or no flying experience, they managed to fly three to four sorties each day, and destroy a vast number of German aircraft.

The 'Thin Blue Line' as the RAF was known, managed to hold off an imminent German invasion, and this program displays 163 of those historic aircraft, which were responsible in thwarting Hitler's attack on Britain.

Any aviation enthusiast will love the footage of such planes as: the Hurricane, Spitfire, Phantom and Lancaster as they make their way over Buckingham Palace. A really great documentary you will want to watch and share with others time and again!

Their Finest Hour - The Battle Of Britain is a documentary with a runtime of 39 minutes.
