Jane Forbes is a trusting young woman who is convinced to help a man who cannot remember a thing about himself. She fails to let her family and friends know what she is up to, so her father has a private detective track her down and follow the pair. Jane and the amnesia patient, Joe Doe, go on one adventure after the other in search of his identity. Bad news shows up in the form of a gangster who may cause more problems than the two can handle. The adventure was fun while it lasted, but now Jane just wants to go home.
