This 17 minute long Canadian film from director Donald Brittain will likely appeal to people interested in the history of film and IMAX presentations. Reportedly the first IMAX wide screen film ever produced, it was a showcase for the capabilities of Fugi Film Company when it was shown for the first time at EXPO 1970 in Osaka, Japan. Although short in length, the production demonstrated the immense promise of wide screen filmography at the time. Students of cinematography and anyone interested in film techniques and film history will likely appreciate studying this unusual short film, on account of its history.
