This film tells the inspirational tale of a group of men who came from humble backgrounds and joined to take on the world in one of the most violent sports in existence. The film centers around a group of individuals known as "the minnows". These minnows, are composed of average Joes who come from different backgrounds and various walks of life. They are plumbers, school teachers, mechanics, and other individuals who have converged together to play in the prestigious World Cup of Rugby. In a sport dominated by large, rugged men who have violence oozing out of their blood, these minnows attempt to not only compete against them, but they aim to win.
