Watch Uptown: Portrait of a Palace

This is a documentary movie about an old building. The Uptown Theatre, on the north side of Chicago, was closed in 1981. It is crumbling apart, and the real estate developers want the land it sits on. There are interviews with people who have been involved in the building throughout its past. This movie explores the mystery of why this building has been left to rot.
