In this film, Victor Hugo talks about architect in the Middle Ages. He teams up with Leon Alberti and speaks on the Apocalypse of art. Hugo is not comfortable with the way that modern architects are defacing the organic process of finding artifacts. In fact, his believes that they are offending human nature and the supernatural and he speaks about it candidly in this documentary. His goal in this film is to impose a civilized manner in approaching architecture and the medieval art. He believes that true architecture is being lost to the printing press, behind compared to applied art.
