Virtual Lies is a 2012 drama-thriller directed by George Erschbamer. The movie revolves around a happily married couple, Lucy (Christina Cox) and Michael (Marc Menard), who have been trying to start a family but have been unsuccessful. They turn to adoption and find a 9-year-old girl named Emily, whom they adopt and bring home with them.

As they welcome Emily into their lives, Lucy starts to experience some strange occurrences. She begins to receive mysterious phone calls and disturbing messages from an unknown source. Lucy is convinced that someone is watching her and that her life and her family's lives are in danger.

With her husband away on business for long periods of time, Lucy turns to her best friend, Kara (Ali Liebert), for support. As Lucy tries to uncover the identity of the mysterious caller, she starts to realize that the people closest to her may not be who they seem.

As the plot thickens, Lucy discovers that Emily has a troubling past and she begins to suspect that her daughter's biological mother may be the one responsible for the threatening messages. Determined to protect her family, Lucy takes matters into her own hands and embarks on a dangerous journey to uncover the truth.

Throughout the movie, Lucy is haunted by her own demons and fears, as well as her growing mistrust of those around her. As she delves deeper into the mystery, she becomes more and more paranoid, leading to some intense and thrilling scenes.

The movie's themes of trust and deception are explored in depth as Lucy struggles to determine who she can trust and who is out to get her. The tension builds as the twists and turns in the plot keep the audience guessing until the very end.

Christina Cox delivers a strong and emotional performance as Lucy, capturing the character's inner turmoil and growing sense of desperation. Marc Menard also does well as Michael, bringing a sense of stability to the chaos and uncertainty that surrounds the family.

Ali Liebert shines as Kara, offering some much-needed comic relief to the tense and emotionally charged scenes. Her character provides a welcome balance to the otherwise heavy subject matter.

Overall, Virtual Lies is an engaging and suspenseful thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The movie's strong cast and well-developed characters make it an enjoyable and thrilling ride from start to finish.
