Watch Wado's Otsuka

Wado's Otsuka features the founder of Wado Ryu Karate, H. Otsuka. Otsuka is shown performing all of the katas, as well as demonstrating a wide variety of ippon kumite techniques. You will see Otsuka performing various ju jitsu techniques which he incorporated into his style of karate. The first part of the Video was shot in California in the 1950s. Also, you will see Otsuka demonstrating all of his sword and knife defenses that he became famous for.
