We Will Rock You is an independent comedy movie from 2011 starring Alex Lvovsky, Mark Metcalf and Corey Feldman. The movie is mainly focused on the comedy genre, as it tells the story of Stevie, a washed-up rock star who is trying to revive his career. The movie opens with Stevie being introduced as a once extremely popular rock star who is now struggling to make ends meet. After a disastrous concert, his manager instructs him and his band to play at a summer camp for kids.

Upon arriving at the summer camp, they are met with a group of enthusiastic young children who have no interest in rock music. The band's instruments are in terrible shape, and they struggle to get the sounds that they want from their guitars and drums.

As part of their contract, the band is required to teach the children about rock music, something that they are obviously reluctant to do. Informed that the camp has a rule that all bands must teach the children, they begrudgingly begin their lessons.

Throughout the summer camp, Stevie and his bandmates find themselves caught up in various comedic scenarios involving the children, their fellow musicians and camp counselors. Corey Feldman plays the role of one of the counselors who has a rival band playing at the same camp. Stevie and his band end up forming an unlikely alliance with the rival band after they're forced to work together to fix their instruments.

As the summer camp comes to an end, Stevie and his band end up playing a concert that the children have been eagerly anticipating. The concert is a huge success as the children are finally won over by the music, and Stevie regains his confidence as a performer.

We Will Rock You is ultimately a feel-good movie that relies heavily on humor to tell its story. Despite the less than serious plot, the performances of the actors make the movie enjoyable to watch. Mark Metcalf plays the role of Stevie's overbearing and demanding manager, while Alex Lvovsky serves as the endearing and slightly eccentric lead vocalist.

Many of the scenes in the movie are meant to be ridiculous, such as when Stevie attempts to teach the children how to "rock out." These scenes are meant to be humorous and at times absurd. While the jokes may not be laugh-out-loud funny, they are consistent and provide a constant stream of entertainment.

The musical aspect of the movie is also a highlight, as the soundtrack is filled with classic rock tunes. While the majority of the songs are covers, they are still enjoyable to listen to and help to round out the camp experience. The movie's title, We Will Rock You, is of course, taken from the famous Queen song of the same name, which is featured in the movie.

One of the movie's strengths is its ability to poke fun at the rock music industry and its colorful characters. There are several references in the movie to famous musicians, such as Jimi Hendrix, which will appeal to fans of the genre. However, the movie takes a light-hearted approach to these references and never takes itself too seriously.

The humor in the movie is not limited to just the adults, as the children also have their fair share of amusing lines and scenes. This provides a nice balance to the movie and ensures that it will appeal to a wide audience.

Overall, We Will Rock You is a fun and lighthearted movie that is perfect for those who want to be entertained without taking anything too seriously. While it may not be a cinematic masterpiece, it is certainly an enjoyable way to spend an evening.
