Watch Weekend Explorer: Ruidoso, New Mexico

This historical and nature travel documentary film was released in 2005. Located in the southern part of New Mexico, Ruidoso was home to the famous wild west outlaw Billy the Kid. Its name means noisy river in Spanish. Host of Weekend Explorer, Jeffrey Lehmann explores Ruidoso by riding through the town on a Harley Davidson motorcycle on the Billy the Kid Scenic Byway. Next he goes mountain biking on country trails and horseback riding to a mountain overlook. Rock climbing in the back country and a visit to White Sand National Monument complete the exploration of this fascinating place in the land of enchantment.
