However, Fateh refuses to accept this and decides to participate in the competition regardless of the fraud. Pooja, helping him through the process, makes a new composition to sing, for Fateh to prepare for the competition.

The competition day arrives, and Fateh gives a stunning performance, which makes everyone in the audience applaud him. Fateh wins the competition with Pooja by his side. After the competition, Fateh decides to stay in Canada, where he gets a recording contract and starts his singing career.

Throughout the film, the audience gets to see a comical portrayal of the cultural clash between India and Canada, how Fateh adapts to his new environment, helping him rediscover his own culture, while also mixing it with Canadian lifestyle. The film features some melodious songs.
