Watch Wild Eyes: The Abby Sunderland Story

This 2011 drama film follows the life and times of Abby Sunderland, a young homemaker who discovers that her family home has been marked for demolition to make way for an interstate highway. Abby then begins to organize her town's poor residents to demand that the interstate not make a detour through their town to spare their affluent neighbors the loss of their golf courses and shopping mall. Abby learns to file motions in the courts and prepare documents on behalf of her town when no lawyers will assist them. Abby is surprised at the result of the court proceedings.
