John Carter is an ex-Marine and UN soldier who stayed on in Indonesia after serving in the Vietnam War. He struggles to get by, making his living as a Punchfighter. Searching for someone to help advance his career, he hooks up with fight promoter Wolf Larsen, who has a less than stellar reputation for integrity. But Carter soon finds himself in a love triangle with Larsen and his girlfriend Tanya, and ultimately being framed for a murder he didn't commit.
