The final film of acclaimed director Kim Ki-young's Housemaid trilogy, this Korean melodrama follows composer Dong-sik and his wife, whose lives are thrown into chaos when they hire Myeong-ja as their new housekeeper. While his wife is away, one of Dong-sik's students tries to seduce him, and Myeong-ja mistakenly becomes the object of his affections. This catches them both up in a chain reaction of lust and betrayal that threatens to burn Dong-sik's farming community, and his family, to ashes.
