The World Atlas: World-Physical Geography is a 30 minute film which briefly discusses some of the world's major biomes. Starting with the oceans, the narrator highlights various statistics. For instance, he notes that the majority of the world's southern hemisphere is composed of water. The narrator also discusses other biomes like the mountains. These geographic areas are formed by the collision of tectonic plates. Thus, the Himalayas are created by the movement of the Indian subcontinent into the larger Asian continent.
