Yaamirukka Bayamey is a Tamil horror-comedy film released in 2014 directed by Deekay starring Krishna Sekhar, Rupa Manjari, Karunakaran, and Oviya. The movie follows the story of a young man named Kiran (Krishna Sekhar) who inherits an old mansion in the outskirts of Chennai from his ancestors. He decides to renovate and sell it to make a profit. Along with his friends, he sets out to the mansion with the intention of fixing it. However, the mansion seems to have a mind of its own and starts playing tricks on them.

Soon enough, they realize that the mansion is not just any ordinary house but is haunted by a ghost named Annabelle (Oviya), who has been waiting for several years to take revenge on the people who wronged her. The ghost is so attached to the mansion that it doesn't let anyone take it away from her.

The story of the film takes a curious turn when a fraudster named Kani (Rupa Manjari) enters the scene. Kani has a peculiar ability to communicate with ghosts, and soon Kiran and his friends seek her help to get rid of the ghost. Kani agrees to help them in exchange for a share of the profits from the sale of the mansion.

Kiran and his friends manage to convince Kani to stay in the haunted house along with them to communicate with the ghost. They soon realize that they have taken on more than they can handle when they encounter more than one ghost in the mansion. The ghosts not only scare the wits out of the group but also start killing them off one by one.

The rest of the film is a rollercoaster ride of horror, comedy, and drama. Kani and the group try various ways to get rid of the ghosts to sell the mansion, but their efforts are in vain. The climax of the film is suspenseful and filled with twists and turns that will leave the audience on the edge of their seats.

Krishna Sekhar and Rupa Manjari deliver some of the best performances in the film. Krishna's acting as Kiran is impressive, and he carries the movie on his shoulders. Rupa Manjari as Kani delivers her lines with conviction and manages to bring some laughs along with her spooky presence.

Karunakaran, who plays one of Kiran's friends, provides the much-needed comic relief throughout the film. He plays his character with ease and adds more humor to the already hilarious story.

The film's music and background score by K underlines the drama, horror, and comedy aspects of the movie. The cinematography by P.K. Varma captures the haunted mansion's atmosphere and elevates the horror scenes.

Yaamirukka Bayamey is a fun and enjoyable horror-comedy that stands out from its peers in the horror genre because of its clever writing and quirky characters. The film delivers on its promise of being a spooky, funny, and thrilling ride that will entertain the audience from start to finish. The film is undoubtedly a must-watch for horror-comedy lovers.
