Zen Buddhism: The Search For Self is an hour long film that documents a 90 day Zen Retreat deep in the mountains of South Korea. The film follows 24 Buddhist nuns as they spend their days meditating, fasting, and searching for spiritual enlightenment. This film is the first ever to document this practice of Dong Ahn Geo, or Winter Zen Retreat, at Korea's Baek Hung Temple.
