Cyanide & Happiness Shorts season 2 episode 1, titled "Stranded," begins with three characters, Dave, Chester, and Ted, on a plane when the pilot announces that the plane is going to crash, and they need to prepare for a crash landing. The three characters proceed to grab their belongings and brace for the impact as the plane crashes.

They soon wake up on a deserted island with nothing but each other and a few supplies. At first, they all seem to be in good spirits, trying to make the best of their situation. However, as time passes, they begin to argue and fight over the little resources they have.

Chester tries to be the leader and delegate responsibilities, but Dave and Ted don't take kindly to his orders. Dave decides to take matters into his own hands and leaves to try and find help. Meanwhile, Ted and Chester stay behind and continue to argue.

While Dave is searching for help, he comes across a group of cannibals on the island. Dave initially tries to befriend them, but it soon becomes clear that they plan to make him their next meal.

Back at camp, Ted and Chester still can't seem to get along, and their arguments become more aggressive. They decide to split up and search for food and supplies on their own.

As the day wears on, all three characters experience hallucinations. Dave thinks he sees his dead wife, Chester sees a giant sandwich, and Ted sees the devil. These hallucinations push them all to the brink of insanity.

In the end, Dave manages to escape from the cannibals, but when he returns to camp, he finds that Chester and Ted have killed each other over the last scrap of food. Dave is left alone on the island, unable to cope with the trauma of the events that have transpired.

"Stranded" is a dark and twisted look at what happens to people when they are pushed to their limits. It showcases the worst aspects of human nature, such as greed, survival instincts, and the willingness to betray others to stay alive.

The episode's animation is simplistic but effective in conveying the gravity of the situation. The use of dark humor provides some laughs, but it's mostly bleak and depressing. Viewers looking for a lighthearted comedy will not find it in this episode.

Overall, "Stranded" is a poignant episode that highlights the dangers of isolation and desperation. It's a thought-provoking look at what happens when we're forced to confront our darkest instincts.
